Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about shopping with 99 Bikes.
How do I choose the right bike size for my height?
Each bike model includes a specific size chart on its product page. We recommend measuring your height and inseam to compare against our geometry charts. If you are between sizes, we generally suggest sizing down for more control or sizing up for more stability.
Do bikes arrive fully assembled?
Bikes shipped directly to your home are 85% pre-assembled in a safety box. You will need to install the front wheel, pedals, and handlebars, and adjust the brakes. For a ride-ready experience, we offer a 'Click & Collect' service where our mechanics assemble the bike for you at no extra cost.
What is your return policy for cycling gear?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all unused items in their original packaging, including apparel and accessories. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on worn padded shorts or bibs unless they are found to have a manufacturing defect.
Do you offer professional maintenance services?
Yes, every 99 Bikes location features a full-service workshop. We offer everything from basic safety checks and puncture repairs to comprehensive drivetrain overhauls and suspension tuning by certified technicians.
What kind of warranty comes with a new bike?
All new bikes come with a manufacturer's warranty covering frame defects (often for life) and a 12-month warranty on components. Additionally, we provide one free 'First Service' within the first three months of purchase to ensure your bike is bedding in correctly.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and interest-free financing options like Afterpay and ZipMoney to help you get on the road sooner.
